SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Outside the Sarasota County School District headquarters Tuesday, a group of people were gathered to protest proposed changes to district policy on discrimination and harassment.
SEE Alliance (Social Equity through Education) and community advocates are urging the board to stop protection rollbacks, protect marginalized students, and educate families about the mounting budget challenges that threaten programs the school district depends on.
