SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The court date for the North Port man accused of murdering his parents in 2023 was pushed back on July 29.
Dima Tower was present before a judge in Sarasota County on Tuesday but did not speak. He is currently charged with the brutal double murder of his parents, Rob and Jennifer Tower, that occurred on Mallicoat Road in North Port in August 2023.
The trial was originally scheduled for December 2024, but during the short hearing on Tuesday, it has now been rescheduled for November 2025. Prosecutors requested a continuance to prevent two murder trials from overlapping in the same session…
