For more than a decade, this couple from Italy have been making delicious food for Bradenton locals

Tucked away in a nondesrcript strip-mall in Bradenton, there’s a little slice of Italy that keeps the regulars coming back with a menu that highlights the classics. Walk into Tiramisu Italian Restaurant, and you’ll quickly realize—it’s more than just a place to eat. It’s a place where love, tradition, and community come together over hand-rolled pasta and melt-in-your-mouth desserts.

Luca Cecconi and his wife Monica Mucci moved from Italy to Florida in 2014 with a dream: to share the food of their homeland with their new community. “We came for the passion,” Luca says, and that passion is evident in every dish that comes out of their kitchen. From the fresh homemade ravioli to the decadent caramel tiramisu, nearly everything on the menu is made from scratch in-house—with the kind of care that only comes from people who truly love what they do.
