One of this year’s most anticipated new restaurants in the Sarasota area has made its debut — and the ownership already has another concept in the works.
The new gastropub Allswell recently opened at 7500 Island Cove Terrace Unit 102 in Lakewood Ranch’s Sarasota County development Waterside Place. Allswell’s ownership has also operated restaurants in New York City such as The Malt House, a tavern with two Manhattan locations, and Southern California-style Mexican restaurant/mezcal and tequila bar Mezcali, which is also in Manhattan.
Allswell co-owner Tory Delany describes the gastropub as “an elevated dining experience, but in a purposefully casual setting.”…
