VENICE — The City Council rejected a mediated settlement of a dispute with developer Pat Neal Tuesday, potentially putting the city on course to see him in court again.
The proposed settlement was of his challenge to a Council decision last year turning down a request by Border Road Investments LLC and Vistera Associates LLC. They sought to raise the density in the 323-acre GCCF planned unit development, south of Laurel Road East, north of Border Road and east of I-75, from 4.3 dwelling units per acre to 5.
