FDOT Orders City to Remove VOTA Sidewalk Art

Village of the Arts (VOTA) became another victim of a new state law targeting the removal of all “asphalt art” on roads, sidewalks, and crosswalks. The local art community was awakened before dawn on Tuesday to the sight of their sidewalk murals being pressure-washed by city officials without prior notice.
