SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Students at the University of South Florida took part in an annual tradition this week–the laying of thousands of miniature flags.
The commemoration is all to honor the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks. Now, 24 years later, USF students lay one flag for every victim, a tribute meant to make sure that they and all their fellow Americans never forget the tragedy.
