NORTH PORT — During Sarasota County Schools’ third community meeting of the year, questions swirled around the latest charter school program expanded by the state, “Schools of Hope.”
Families of Wilkinson Elementary, a school at the center of online rumors speculating its closure to become a charter school, came with concerns of their child’s future at Thursday’s meeting.
