A Florida man wanted for armed burglary and shooting into a structure was arrested in Penn Yan last week with help from the U.S. Marshals.
Penn Yan Police say 21-year-old Jacques Gentis was taken into custody without incident on August 28 at the Prospect Avenue boat launch. He was wanted out of Sarasota County on four arrest warrants and had another outstanding warrant in Charlotte County for failing to appear.
On September 5, U.S. Marshals also arrested 23-year-old Sydnee Zigas at her home on East Main Street in Penn Yan. She’s accused of helping Gentis while knowing he was a fugitive…
