SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – An Episcopal priest in Sarasota has been appointed to a position with an international organization in Rome, it was announced this week.
The Rev. Charleston Wilson, rector of Church of the Redeemer, was named by the presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church to the Board of Trustees of the American Friends of the Anglican Centre.
The nonprofit Centre serves as the embassy of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Anglican Communion to the Vatican, supporting the official ecumenical dialogue between the Anglican and Roman communions, the Church of the Redeemer said…
