Two men died in separate drowning incidents on Siesta Key beaches within a span of 10 days, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, at about 9:53 a.m., deputies responded to an emergency call at Turtle Beach. Sarasota County Fire Department personnel were already performing CPR on 67-year-old Sarasota resident Paul Kerns when deputies arrived.
