School districts receive big money for workforce training

TALLAHASSEE — Of the $40 million awarded by the Florida Department of Education to expand workforce education, two area districts will get $1.4 million.

On Tuesday, FLDOE Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas announced the districts that were recipients of the statewide Workforce Development Capitalization Incentive Grant Program.
