October 13, 2025 – The Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) named Fredric Jarrett, MD, as a recipient of the 2025 Excellence in Community Practice Award, recognizing his outstanding leadership and enduring commitment to community-based vascular care.
A dedicated volunteer physician at Sarasota Memorial’s Community Specialty Clinic for more than 7 years, Dr. Jarrett delivers compassionate, expert vascular care for Sarasota County residents who are uninsured or underinsured, and in need of specialty services.
“Dr. Jarrett graciously volunteers his time and expertise for our patients, staff and primary care providers in our community. He also mentors the Florida State University medical students that rotate through our clinic. Despite his years of volunteer practice, he asks for no remuneration for his services.
