Cold front moves past today bringing changes

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A weak cold front is moving south today, shifting our winds out of the north and bringing in drier air. Dew points will fall from the sticky 70s into the mid-60s by evening, giving the air a noticeably more comfortable feel. Temperatures tonight will also cool down, dropping into the mid-60s, while daytime highs today will stay in the lower 80s—about three to five degrees cooler than yesterday.

A stronger cold front arrives late tomorrow night, delivering the coldest and driest air of the season. By Friday night, temperatures could dip into the mid-50s, setting up a cool, crisp evening—perfect for trick-or-treaters under a nearly three-quarter full waxing gibbous moon.
