Plants stolen, garden vandalized at 1950s-themed Sarasota senior care center

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A 1950s-themed senior care center in Sarasota is asking for the community’s help in restoring its sensory garden after it was vandalized and plants were stolen from it.

The Town Square University Parkway, an adult day center specializing in dementia and senior care, reported that the theft occurred around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
