SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota Memorial Health Care System celebrated 100 years of caring for the community on Thursday, October 30.
The hospital highlighted its history and its next century of service during the milestone celebration. Hospital officials recognized their longest-serving physicians, staff, and volunteers during the event.
“From Day 1, the dedication of the people who work here have set this organization apart,” David Verinder, CEO of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System. “Our outstanding physicians, employees, volunteers, and leaders, and our philanthropic and community partners have built the health system into the nationally recognized institution it is today.”
