SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – World-renowned high-wire artists Nik Wallenda and his sister Lijana Wallenda completed the first-ever Criss Cross Skywalk Saturday evening during University Town Center’s Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting.
The siblings crossed paths mid-air at 6 p.m., suspended high above Cattlemen Road without safety harnesses or nets. The performance served as the centerpiece of UTC’s annual holiday celebration.
