NORTH PORT, Fla. (WWSB) – Recently, a coordinated effort by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Unit, in partnership with the Florida Gaming Control Commission, TAC Unit, and Patrol Unit, led to the bust of an illegal gambling business.
On November 4th, a search warrant was executed at Headquarters Social at 12749 S. Tamiami Trail in North Port. In the search, 58 illegal slot machines were seized, as well as a significant amount of money.
During the investigation, Alex Jacobs was arrested and now faces charges of Maintaining a Gambling House and Possession of Slot Machines…
