Mote study reveals massive illegal trade of shark fins across the world

SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Specialists with Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium in Sarasota are sounding the alarm.

A study revealed widespread illegal shark fin trading, which has been occurring nearly 10 years after international protections were put in place.
