MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A former Manatee County administrator is asking a judge to dismiss criminal charges against him.
Scott Hopes faces allegations of forging documents, destroying records, and defrauding the county of thousands of dollars. Prosecutors say Hopes submitted incorrect time cards that resulted in the county overpaying him thousands of dollars.
