MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — At least 30 people were displaced after an apartment building caught fire in Cedar Hammock on Friday.
According to the Cedar Hammock Fire Marshall, rescue units responded to the Coral Club Apartments located at 5920 36th Street West, following a reported building fire that involved a multi-residential three story structure.
Crews arrived just over two minutes after receiving the call and found heavy fire and smoke billowing from the rear of the 18-unit apartment building. Heavy smoke could also be seen emitting from all three levels at the front of the building…
