Danbury High graduate and three-time All-American Kevin Jack has been hired as the first-ever head wrestling coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. IMG, one of the biggest brands in high school sports, announced it would add wrestling as its 11th sport in September.
Jack was a three-time All-American at North Carolina State, finishing as high as third at 141 pounds in 2017. He is the only Connecticut wrestler to have earned multiple All-American honors at the NCAA Division I championships.
Jack finished his NC State career as only the fifth individual to earn All-American honors three times in a career, and he also finished second in school history in career wins (113) when he graduated in 2018…
