9-time convicted felon jailed after shooting Bradenton woman in the face, sheriff says

BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said a man is in jail, and two victims are recovering after a shooting in Bradenton early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to 11th Street Court East at around 2:15 a.m. after receiving a report that two people had been shot.

At the scene, they found a 32-year-old woman who had been shot in the face and a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest. The suspect had fled by the time police arrived, and both victims were transported to a local hospital.

As the investigation progressed, deputies identified 26-year-old Exzavion Richardson as the suspect. He was then located in a vehicle a few blocks away and detained.
