VENICE — Several dozen yoga enthusiasts showed up at City Hall on Tuesday instead of Venice Beach, to complain to the Venice City Council about a man they say is disrupting their morning classes.
Elin Larsen has been leading the classes every day at the beach for 18 years, weather permitting. Between the two morning classes, as many as 400-500 people show up for exercise and community, Ellen Bern told the Council.
But on Nov. 1, a man identified as James VanVleet showed up and, according to Steve Lindblom, was “screaming, cursing and yelling.”…
