Shore, a popular St. Armands restaurant and retail spot, is trying to come back to the Circle after closing its doors in December 2024 following extensive flood damage from hurricanes Helene and Milton.
The redevelopment team submitted preapplication materials to the city’s Development Review Committee, with phased plans to renovate what is currently a two-story building into a three-story mixed-use establishment containing a restaurant, retail space and approximately eight residential units.
Further improvements to the site, located at the corner of North Boulevard of the Presidents and Madison Drive, include upgrades to the building’ exterior, landscaping enhancements and modernizing the interior spaces, according to the preapplication plans.
