Tim Jaeger is well-known around town, both as director of galleries and exhibitions at Ringling College and in his newer role as co-owner and director of 502 Gallery on Pineapple Avenue. He’s also a painter who works steadily in his home studio. His latest series, “A Fresh Wave,” was begun during Hurricane Milton in fall 2024, with the swirling forms on his canvases related not only to hurricane movement but, he says, “to what lies beneath the ocean and ourselves—the flow of community, the surge of life.”
