At a recent Development Review Committee meeting, the Mira Mar redevelopment project in downtown Sarasota received approval for its site plans. It was the Mira Mar’s second site plan submittal to the DRC.
After the first submittal, the project’s team still needed to address comments related to zoning; utilities, water and wastewater; engineering; tree protections; planning and neighborhoods; building; the fire department; and traffic. Now, the team just needs to focus on some details surrounding the street level.
The project will not have to face the DRC again, but will still need to address all remaining comments before obtaining full sign off, according to a city spokesperson..
