BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Bradenton Police Department said a pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles Friday evening.

The crash happened near the intersection at Manatee Avenue and 21st Street East when a pedestrian attempted to cross the street.
The person was hit by a motorcycle that left the area without stopping. They were then struck by a second vehicle and died of their injuries at the scene.

BPD said the motorcyclist later called law enforcement, but he was nonetheless arrested for leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Police did not identify the pedestrian or the motorcyclist.
