VENICE, Fla. (WFLA) — A mother of a Venice High School student was arrested on Tuesday after her daughter brought her firearm to school, authorities said.
According to an arrest affidavit, a Sarasota County sergeant responded to the school where a student had been detained for bringing a gun onto the property.
