Sarasota filmmaker is honored with two regional Emmy Awards
Sarasota filmmaker Shaun Greenspan recently won two Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which recognizes outstanding television work across Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico and parts of the Southeast.
Greenspan was named a 2025 Emmy winner in the Environment/Science Short Form Content category as director/producer of “Greater Lakeland: The Swans of Lakeland.” He also won for “Greater Lakeland: Frank Lloyd Wright – Child of the Sun” for Historical/Cultural Long Form Content.
Both films were produced in association with WEDU-TV, West Central Florida’s PBS station, which won a total of five Suncoast Emmys. Greenspan is creative executive/producer for Tampa-based Hungry Bull Productions and producer/director for TriForce Pictures in Sarasota. His credits include the award-winning short ”The Job” and the Snoop Dogg music video ”Candy.”
