SIESTA KEY, Fla. (WFLA) — Sarasota County charter boat captains took part in a rally Wednesday at Nora Patterson Bay Island Park to oppose a new county rule that they say could hurt the future of the industry.
“I’m a single owner operator, and I have a family to feed and what not, and I might not be able to afford it,” said Tim Crowley, owner of Windward Fishing Charters.
