FLORIDA — A 28-year-old man has died following a crash on Interstate 75 after a tractor-trailer made an illegal U-turn near the Hillsborough and Manatee county line, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at the 235 milepost when the driver of a tractor-trailer attempted to make a U-turn to travel southbound on I-75. In doing so, the truck entered the path of a Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Corolla was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Authorities said he later died from injuries sustained in the crash…
