SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – With extreme drought conditions persisting in our area, measures have been put into place by both the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority to conserve water.
Sarasota, DeSoto and Charlotte counties, along with the City of North Port, all pull water from the Peace River Manasota water facilities with nearly 30 million gallons of water being distributed daily.
