SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA)— Two northbound lanes are closed on I-75 in Sarasota after a dump truck hit an overpass.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Florida Highway Patrol on the incident at the Procter Road overpass.
According to deputies, the dump truck was traveling north on I-75 when it struck the Procter Road overpass with the box of the dump truck.
The dump truck and a load of gravel are still under the overpass. There is also gravel on the outer lanes of I-75 from the 205 northbound ramp to the Procter Road overpass…
