SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Sarasota County man has been convicted of domestic battery and trying to pressure the victim into dropping the charges, the Sarasota County State Attorney’s Office said Monday.
Abraham Moises Contreras Perez was convicted of domestic battery by strangulation, tampering with a victim/witness, solicitation of a third party to violate pretrial release and nine counts of violation of pretrial release.
Perez faces a maximum possible sentence of more than 29 years in prison…
