Courtney De Pol to Depart County Administration Next Month

BRADENTON — At Tuesday’s Manatee County Commission meeting, County Administrator Charlie Bishop announced that Deputy County Administrator Courtney De Pol would be departing from his leadership team. Bishop said that April 3 would be her final day with the county.

De Pol was hired as Director of Development Services in January of 2022, while Scott Hopes was Manatee County Administrator. She was promoted to Deputy County Administrator later that same year, overseeing key departments, including Public Safety, Development Services, and Human Resources.

Bishop commended De Pol for her work supervising Public Safety during the volatile 2024 hurricane season. De Pol thanked her team and the board for their confidence in her abilities, while commissioners praised her work and wished her well going forward…
