Laika, a rescue dog who underwent mass removal surgery at the Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota with Dr. Rose, has been adopted by a new owner. After recovering for four weeks in the care of foster volunteer Margarita Fazioli, Laika has fully healed and moved into her permanent home. The Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare (FoMCAS) thanked donors, medical staff, and volunteers who supported her recovery.
