SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) – A local restauranteur is using her story of survival to inspire other women while also using her restaurant to give back to her home country.
Poonam Maini is the owner of Tandoor Fine Indian Cuisine located at 8447 Cooper Creek Blvd in Sarasota. The journey to this booming restaurant was a dream fulfilled. Maini was born and raised in a small village in India. Tradition and culture meant a very strict upbringing for her.
