Dakin Dairy Farms’ Bull Bash attracts 2,000 fans on Easter weekend

Sarasota’s Harlyn Voyles, 7, held on tight to a sheep’s wool as the gate swung open to let them into the arena. The whole time she felt as if she was going to fall off, but she held on as long as she could, or 5.64 seconds.

“The most that’s going to happen is she gets a little dirt on her face and clothes,” said Marilyn Voyles, Harlyn’s mom. “It gives her courage to conquer fears.”

The Voyles were attending Dakin Dairy Farms’ Bull Bash April 4, along with 2,000 others. A variety of activities were available that included bull riding, mutton busting, monster truck rides, calf cuddles, and more…
