MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A man is charged with murder after deputies said he called 911 to report he had stabbed his wife at a home in south Manatee County.
Deputies responded around 5:40 p.m. Thursday to the 3700 block of 82nd Avenue Circle East. There, they found 32-year-old Meaghan Bowler in a bathroom with apparent stab wounds, according to investigators.
Life-saving measures were given before fire and EMS personnel arrived. She was then taken to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The sheriff’s office said her 39-year-old husband, Jesse Nicholas Jones, was taken into custody without incident. Detectives with the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit charged him with murder…
