MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A proposed cruise port in Manatee County is now off the table, a major win for advocates and locals who have pushed to protect Terra Ceia and surrounding waters.
But while supporters are celebrating the result, they say the broader fight to preserve the area is far from over.
