SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The 18-year-old accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 75 in Manatee County has pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial, according to newly filed court records.
Jonathan Matos-Morales also waived formal arraignment. A filing submitted Monday in Manatee County Circuit Court includes a notice of appearance, waiver of arraignment and written plea of not guilty in the case against Morales.
