VENICE — A building that has been a repeat offender for code violations has changed hands.
The Hanneman Family Trust sold 219 W. Venice Ave., also known as the Nickel Building, along with 247 W. Miami Ave, to Venice Villa Plaza on April 17 for $3.5 million, according to county property appraiser records.
