MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – A man has been convicted of attempted first-degree murder with a firearm after prosecutors said he shot a victim during an attempted robbery.
State Attorney Ed Brodsky announced that Leonard Allen Lafleur Jr. was convicted after a jury trial held May 11-14 at the Manatee County Judicial Center.
