SARASOTA Fla., (WSNN) – More than 1,400 gallons of water were dropped Sunday on a large brush fire near the Plantation Golf Course and County Club in Venice.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s office said it’s aviation division helped Sarasota County Emergency Services with the fire that was threatening homes in the area.
AIR2 conducted 10 fire drops to extiguish the fire and prevent damage to other structures.
