Five Savannah men sentenced to federal prison for gun charges

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Five Savannah men were sentenced to federal prison Monday for gun charges in separate cases, a U.S. attorney said Monday.

The men pleaded guilty to being felons in possession of firearms, Margaret E. Heap, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia, said.

Stephen Lodato, 39, was sentenced to 165 months followed by three years of supervised release. Lodato pleaded guilty to possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
