BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) — Sterling Helicopter plans to open its first South Carolina operation in Beaufort County this September.
Officials said each year 900 Marines make the transition back to civilian life in Beaufort County. With the average age of 27, leaders say most have experience with helicopters and aircraft parts.
