City of Pooler receives $1.9M stormwater grant

POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Pooler was awarded more than $1.9 million in federal grant funding to help develop a comprehensive Storm Water Master Plan.

The funding was provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.

According to city officials, the master plan will build upon Pooler’s ongoing drainage infrastructure improvements by establishing a full stormwater model and extensive data analysis.
