City of Pooler secures $800K park trail grant

POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) – The City of Pooler secured a major state grant to fund the design of a new trail system connecting two of the city’s popular parks, local officials announced.

Mayor Karen Williams announced the award in a Facebook post Thursday night, stating the city received $800,000 through a Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) grant for the conceptual design of the Pooler Park-to-Park Trail Project.
