SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Lowcountry’s largest free music festival is returning next month to fill Forsyth Park with world-class rhythm and soul.
Organizers have officially announced the lineup for the 45th annual Savannah Jazz Festival, scheduled for Sept. 18-20, 2026. This year’s event will feature 15 free performances and is dedicated to longtime arts patron Bob Faircloth in honor of his 90th birthday.
“The demand for the festival is still tremendous, and we anticipate more people than ever to visit Savannah,” said Paula Fogarty, Executive Director of Savannah Jazz. Organizers expect to host more than 50,000 attendees over the weekend.
The world-class lineup includes:
- Friday, Sept. 18: Georgia Blues legend EG Kight, Gino Castillo and the Latin Cowboys, and the headlining Joe Gransden Big Band.
- Saturday, Sept. 19: Saxophonist Brian Miller, the Savannah Jazz Hall of Fame Band (performing a special tribute to Faircloth), vocalist Jane Monheit with the Savannah Jazz Orchestra, and the high-energy headliner Huntertones.
- Sunday, Sept. 20: New Orleans Dixieland favorites The Storyville Stompers, the University of North Florida Jazz Ensemble, and School Band Day wrapping up the weekend at District Live.
